On dismal dreary Saturday afternoon saw the foxes take on Oldham Ladies in what was to become a nail biter of a game with the foxes coming away winners 24-22

Straight from the KO Oldham let the foxes know they meant business with a crunching tackle and a turn over of the ball. But with fantastic defending the foxes thwarted the first attempt at a try by Oldham From a scrum on our own 15m the foxes showed some magnificent ball handling skills with every player on the team touching the ball and eventually Amy Paton getting the scoring under way 10mins in. Soon after Oldham returned the favour and scored a try both of which were unconverted Foxes 2nd try came from Megan Montgomery who scored from. 40 meter burst through the Oldham line to ground the ball under the sticks. The try converted by Cerys Ellis Oldham quickly scored the level it up

At half time 12-12

The 2nd half started with a great Oldham try to put the foxes on the back foot a quick short kick off saw Cerys chase her own KO and in a cheeky little one two overlap scored a blinding try just to the left of the sticks leaving an early conversion to put the foxes in front

The foxes defending was outstanding in the last 10 minutes with Oldham attacking the line but a quick bit of thinking by Casey Naylor saw Kia Doyle power 50 meters towards the line and score the winning try which Cerys Ellis Converted
