A blustery West Park was the venue for the Quarter Finals of the Area National Cup against Crewe and Nantwich which. At this stage of the competition both line-outs and scrums were contested. Great work by Ray and Damien over the last 4 weeks with the Girls saw the West Park Forwards take on a big physical pack with great success. The backs all turned up with their A game and this produced a great display of attacking rugby.
It was great to see the forwards making dents in the opposition defence, the willingness to run hard and straight and the pack working as a unit. The intensity of the last couple of training sessions paid dividends to today and to progress to the final we will have to continue with the same attitude and application.
